We are delighted to welcome Denver based jazz vocalist Louisa Amend back to the Nocturne stage for two special Mother's Day evening shows with her super swinging quintet (John Gunther- sax, Tom Amend- organ, Alex Heffron- guitar, Austin Hass- drums).
Louisa Amend is a vocalist and educator based out of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a Bachelors of Music Education and was a member of a numerous premier ensembles (one earning a Downbeat Magazine best of award) and opera productions produced by the university. After teaching music in public schools for a few years Louisa transitioned into working as a freelance musician and founding her own voice studio and she is quickly becoming a mainstay in the Denver jazz scene. In November of 2022, Louisa partnered with pianist Eric Gunnison to perform a special artist-in-residency at Nocturne honoring the late American jazz singer, Carmen McRae which was met with a marvelous reception.

Set Two: 8:45 - 10:00pm

- Floor seats are reserved for Dinner and a Show Reservations (Music & Three Course Dinner Included)
- Reserved Bar Seats are $19 per guest and include music. Bar guests have access to the entire dinner menu as well as our wine & cocktail list
- Nocturne sets aside a small number bar seats for walk-in guests per set. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $20 per person applied to their check on Wednesdays Thursdays and Sundays
