Friday nights in March, Nocturne presents the Daryl Gott Quintet as they explore the works of the iconic Joe Henderson. The quintet consists of some of Denver's finest jazz artists including: Daryl Gott -alto, Eric Erhardt -tenor, Tom Amend -piano, Seth Lewis -bass and Dru Heller -drums.
BIO: Growing up in a musical family in Denver, saxophonist Daryl Gott was exposed to jazz at a young age. After graduating from Denver School of the Arts, he continued his formal music education at the City College of New York where he studied with saxophonist Jon Gordon. Daryl is very active in Denver's jazz scene as a first call sideman and a dynamic bandleader in his own right.
