Backed by an illustrious trio of Denver’s finest, Stan Killian returns in his first Colorado appearance in over two years, where he will perform compositions from his newest album “Brooklyn Calling”. This highly polished and exciting performance style associated with the New York Jazz scene will surely be a treat for the Nocturne audience. For this special appearance he will be joined by Steve Kovalcheck (guitar), Mark Diamond (bass) and Alejandro Castaño (drums).
New York-based saxophonist and composer Stan Killian has recorded with top notch jazz artists Roy Hargrove, Jeremy Pelt, Antonio Sanchez, Eric Harland, Ben Monder, Mike Moreno, David Binney among others, and has performed in some of New York City’s top venues like The Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, The Iridium, and Carnegie Hall as well as in hardcore jazz venues like The 55 Bar, Jazz Gallery and Smalls Jazz Club. He has toured the U.S., Europe, Japan, Korea, China and Mexico and has released four critically-acclaimed albums on Sunnyside Records.

- If availability permits, we do allow walk-in guests. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $20 per person applied to their check on weeknights.
