Sunday nights in September the Tom Amend Trio (Matt Smiley on bass and Dru Heller on drums) explores the works of Carla Bley, Paul Bley, Steve Swallow and their close contemporaries. Along with their incredible virtuosity, this world-class trio creates musical moments of great depth and impact - this three show series is not to be missed!

Tom Amend is an organist, pianist, composer, and arranger from Denver, Colorado. Performing and recording throughout the Rocky Mountain region in various settings as both a leader and a sideman he can be heard with with Colorado based Soul/Blues artists: The Burroughs and the Taylor Scott Band. Amend received a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and a Masters of Music in Composition at the University of Northern Colorado. During his time at UNC Tom shared stages with Chris Potter, Christian McBride, Jeff Hamilton, Joey DeFrancesco, Groove For Thought, Greg Gisbert, Deborah Brown, Louis Hayes, Dave Liebman, Sheila Jordan and others. As a bandleader, Tom's 2021 debut album as an organist, "Frontier Justice" featured Jeff Hamilton on drums and Steve Kovalcheck on guitar.

Set One: 6:30 - 7:45pm

Set Two: 8:45 - 10:00pm

- Floor seats are reserved for Dinner and a Show Reservations (Music & Three Course Dinner Included)

- Reserved Bar Seats are $19 per guest and include music. Bar guests have access to the entire dinner menu as well as our wine & cocktail list

- Nocturne sets aside 4 to 6 bar seats for walk-in guests per set. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $20 per person applied to their check on Wednesdays Thursdays and Sundays

     

The "Ellington Experience" - is the ultimate night out at Nocturne, featuring a five course tasting with wine pairings, served at tables in our favorite nook of the main level under the curve of our grand art deco staircase.
