Eirik Haugbro Chordless Trio
Exploring harmonic openness and dynamic rhythmic interplay, Eirik Haugbro leads a trio with Saxophonist Andrew Janak and drummer Gabriel Gravagno, exploring the tradition of the "chordless trio". This trio takes inspirations from the Elvin Jones trio, Sonny Rollins trio as heard on "Way Out Qest" and "A Night at the Village Vanguard", Joe Henderson Trio and many others. This
Portland native Eirik Haugbro, has performed with renowned artists the nationwide and is deeply influenced by the great piano trios of jazz history, drawing inspiration from the music of legends such as Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson. Eirik studied the double bass at Western Washington University and received a master’s in jazz studies from the University of Northern Colorado. He has performed with Pedro Martins, Genevive Artadi, Michael Mayo, John Fedchock and Ali Jackson.

Reserved Bar Seats are $29 per guest and include music. Bar seat guests can order from our entire dinner menu as well as our wine and craft cocktail list.
The 'Ellington Experience' is the ultimate night out at Nocturne, featuring a five course tasting menu with wine pairings, served at just two tables per set in our favorite nook of the main level under the curve of the grand art deco staircase.

- On Wednesdays and Thursdays we set aside four to six walk-in bar seats per set. Walk-in guests will have a music charge of $29 per person applied to their check.
