\nParisian born\, Jessica Gabrielle is a Franco-American singer with influe nces at the crossing of pop\, jazz and soul. At the age of 11 years\, Jess ica and her family moved to Colorado. Jess went on to study music at the U niversity of Colorado in Boulder and Denver. Jessica returned to France to call Paris home. She released her first album Crazy in partnership with t he Franco-English independent label Colligence Records. This diverse album is the result from personal experiences from adolescence to adult transcr ibed into music. \nJohn Gunther is a composer and m ulti-instrumentalist playing Saxophones\, Clarinet\, and Flute. With a res tless musical spirit\, he explores all forms of jazz from traditional to a vant-garde as well as classical music\, world music and experimental elect ronic music. He has performed or recorded with Dave Douglas\, Ron Miles\, Christian McBride\, Bobby Watson\, Wallace Roney\, Larry Goldings\,Tom Har rel\, Dewey Redman\, Joe Williams\, The Woody Herman Orchestra\, the Vangu ard Jazz Orchestra and The Maria Schneider Orchestra.
\nAs part of N ew York city's 'downtown' music scene for many years\, he produced five re cordings for Creative Improvised Music Projects (CIMP) and is co-founder o f the contemporary jazz ensembles\, 'Spooky Actions' and 'Convergence.' Jo hn is an Associate Professor and director of the Thompson Jazz Studies Pro gram at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received a Ph.D. from New Y ork University. \nJohn Gunther is a composer and multi -instrumentalist playing Saxophones\, Clarinet\, and Flute. With a restles s musical spirit\, he explores all forms of jazz from traditional to avant -garde as well as classical music\, world music and experimental electroni c music. He has performed or recorded with Dave Douglas\, Ron Miles\, Chri stian McBride\, Bobby Watson\, Wallace Roney\, Larry Goldings\,Tom Harrel\ , Dewey Redman\, Joe Williams\, The Woody Herman Orchestra\, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and The Maria Schneider Orchestra.
\nAs part of New Y ork city's 'downtown' music scene for many years\, he produced five record ings for Creative Improvised Music Projects (CIMP) and is co-founder of th e contemporary jazz ensembles\, 'Spooky Actions' and 'Convergence.' John i s an Associate Professor and director of the Thompson Jazz Studies Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received a Ph.D. from New York University. In 2007 he founded the Boulder Laptop Orchestra [BLOrk] to exp lore the intersection of music\, performance\, art\, and technology. His w ork with BLOrk has led to further collaboration with the STEM program at C U exploring informal science education through the arts.
