Dana Landry Trio

Performing, recording, and touring together for over 15 years, the Dana Landry Trio has appeared throughout the U.S. and in Asia and Europe, and their debut recording Memphis Skyline (Artist Alliance Records) reached the Top 40 on the Jazz Week radio airplay chart. In addition to working as a standalone trio, the group has performed with some of the most prominent names in jazz including Eddie Daniels, Ingrid Jensen, Jaleel Shaw, Dave Pietro, Bob Sheppard, Clay Jenkins, and Dick Oatts, and can be heard on recordings including Dan Gailey’s What Did You Dream, Steve Owen’s Stand Up Eight, and Back When It Was Fun by the group 7 ON 7.


Dana Landry has performed with jazz artists including Milt Jackson, Bela Fleck, Jeff Coffin, Rufus Reid, Bill Watrous, Alan Dawson, David Liebman, Slide Hampton, and others. His first release as a leader, Journey Home (Summit Records), which features vibist Gary Burton, was nominated for a Grammy Award. Dana is one of the primary pianists for the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.


Erik Applegate has performed with artists including the Bob Mintzer Big Band, Nnenna Freelon, Milt Jackson, Jeff Coffin, Tom Harrell, Ron Miles, Marlena Shaw, and others. He toured with renowned pianist James Williams and in a trio with Harold Mabern and Ed Thigpen, and has appeared at festivals, clubs, and concert series throughout the U.S. and in Europe and Australia. His most recent release, Two’s Company (Artist Alliance Records), finds him in several different duo settings and was featured in Jazziz Magazine.


Jim White’s versatility and unique sound have been featured on many jazz, pop, and country recordings. He has performed and recorded with pop and country artists including J.D. Souther, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Crystal Gayle, Jerry Douglas, Charlie Peacock, Jack Pearson, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, and Willie Nelson. In addition, he toured internationally as a member of Maynard Ferguson’s “Big Bop Nouveau” band and has performed with top jazz artists including Terell Stafford, Joey Defrancesco, Curtis Stigers, Pat Bianchi, Jim Ferguson, Chris Potter, Annie Sellick, the North German Radio (N.D.R.) Big Band, and many others. White is proud to be an artist/clinician for Yamaha Drums, Sabian/Crescent Cymbals, Remo Drum Heads, Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets, and Humes and Berg Cases.

David Bernot Quintet - Album Release Series

This special series celebrates the release of David Bernot's debut quintet album: Never-Ending Cycle. This album features an intriguing collection of original compositions is a musical embodiment of David's studies, sonic contemplations and influences since he moved to Denver in 2012. The band both on the album and on the series features a world-class line up: Greg Gisbert on trumpet, Tom Amend on piano, Gonzalo Teppa on bass and Michael De’Angelo on drums.


David Bernot, born and raised in Gilbert Arizona, moved to Denver in 2012 to study jazz performance at the University of Denver. Since earning a Bachelors of Music from DU’s Lamont School of Music David has played professionally a jazz musician and freelance saxophonist ( in funk, pop & EDM categories).. In addition to playing, David also teaches a private studio, and is faculty with the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts.

The Dawn Clement Trio

This special trio performance features Dawn Clement on piano, Dru Heller on drums, and Greg Garrison on bass.


With her joyful presence, consummate technique and distinctive sound, Pianist/Vocalist/Composer Dawn Clement has established herself as a top tier, international artist and gained the attention and respect of musicians, critics and fans through the US and abroad. Dawn has five CD’s under her belt, and acclaimed performances as a side woman on Jane Ira Bloom’s latest release “Wild Lines” and Emi Meyer’s “Monochrome”.  Downbeat says “The revelation is Dawn Clement’s piano, always ready with the lyricism or structure the moment needs. With her most recent release, Tandem, she explores the magic of musical pairs with some of her closest musical cohorts. In 2018, Dawn re-located from the Pacific Northwest to Denver, Colorado to take on the new role of Assistant Professor and Area Coordinator of the Jazz and American Music Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts and a Masters of Fine Arts in Music Composition from Vermont College of the Arts. When she is not playing, composing, touring, or teaching, Clement lives in Denver with her husband and three children, Noah, Elvin, and Adele.
