Songs of a Night is Ryan Fourt’s debut release with Moddl Records™. After years of leading bi-weekly gigs at Jay’s Bistro in Fort Collins, Ryan went into the studio with his regular bandmates and documented the incredible sensitivity they cultivated together. The record is a nod to the classic guitar trio aesthetic and features a beautifully curated spread of personalities. Join Ryan and his cohorts on Wednesday nights in August as they take a deeper dive into the music from the album and celebrate the record's release with a month-long residency at Nocturne Jazz and Supper Club.
Ryan Fourt’s career in music has spanned twenty years – between his beginnings studying music at the University of Arkansas to becoming a Lecturer and Jazz Guitar Instructor at the University of Wyoming (current), his life in music has been expansive and well documented throughout his twenty year journey with several recordings both as a leader and a sideman. On top of teaching and recording Ryan performs regularly and is the musical director at, Jay’s Bistro in Fort Collins Colorado. Ryan currently lives in Greeley Colorado but often ventures back to his home state of Arkansas to enjoy time with family and play a gig or two while he’s home.

What happens when an iconic artist or recording inspires a chef and sommelier?
RENDITIONS - an interactive five course dinner event where the art of gastronomy and music collide.
A few times per year, the Nocturne hospitality team creates an original tasting menu that explores the aesthetics of iconic albums through flavor, texture, and emotion. In addition to celebrating the release of the new menu, the release night includes interactive chats and in depth course explanations by Chef Partner Dustin Beckner, the musicians on stage, and Nocturne co-owners Scott & Nicole Mattson.
Renditions dinners have been covered by local and national media alike, and gathered a committed following of fans. In the weeks leading up to the menu release, the culinary team dives deep into the selected music, using various melodies, themes, and stories in the songs to inspire five composed courses that are paired to a live performance of the works featured.
For our 26th Renditions, we're drawing inspiration from the works of iconic saxophonist/composer Cannonball Adderley. Expect five courses carefully crafted to depict the unique facets of Adderley's ever-swinging songs and playing. Performing these musical selections live will be The Daryl Gott Quintet.
*Guests may pre-purchase sommelier's pairings upon booking or upon arrival
