John Fedchock Quartet

Sun. 15 Nov, 2026 5:00 pm

Nocturne presents acclaimed jazz trombonist John Fedchock for a special Sunday night appearance. Fedchock will be joined by a collection of some of the finest players from the front-range jazz scene (Ben Markley - piano, Seth Lewis - bass and Paul Romaine - drums) as they perform thoughtful originals, and distinctive arrangements of beloved standards.

In a career spanning more than four decades, Fedchock has established himself as a world-class soloist, bandleader, and two-time GRAMMY-nominated arranger, becoming one of New York City's premier jazz artists. His recordings have reached jazz radio's Top Ten and Hot House NYC magazine called Fechock "one of the living masters of his instrument". He began his career touring with Woody Herman and has since toured with T.S. Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Louie Bellson, Jon Faddis, and the Carnegie Hall Jazz Band.
