The Zach Howarth Quartet plays Joe Henderson
Sun. 22 Nov, 2026 5:00 pm
The Zach Howarth Quartet (David Bernot - sax, Tom Amend - piano, and Gabe Rupe - bass) presents a night celebrating the music of jazz icon Joe Henderson, with a special focus on the 1964 Blue Note recording Inner Urge. From the angular wit of "Isotope" to the haunting, Latin-tinged "El Barrio" and the lyrical warmth of "Black Narcissus," Inner Urge was a hallmark work of musical art that continues to inspire musicians of all genres. Please join us to experience these grwat works as they are revisited with the lens of this quartets modern sound!
